Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Services provided by PROENR Technologies Inc., doing business as VoIP.IT (“VoIP.IT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP and all related Terms of Service. VoIP.IT reserves the right to amend this AUP at any time, with updates posted on our website.

1- Prohibited Uses


You agree NOT to use VoIP.IT Services to engage in any activities that are unlawful or harmful, including but not limited to:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including those of your locality and VoIP.IT’s jurisdiction.
  • Transmitting, distributing, or storing material that is illegal, fraudulent, abusive, obscene, defamatory, or harmful.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with others.
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities such as phishing, identity theft, or financial scams.
  • Introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful software into our network.
  • Conducting or promoting attacks, including denial of service (DDoS) attacks, network flooding, or attempts to breach security.
  • Harvesting or collecting data about others without consent, including phone numbers or personally identifiable information.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk communications, robocalls, or spam, except where legally permitted and with prior approval from VoIP.IT.
  • Interfering with or overloading VoIP.IT’s Services or connected networks, or causing degradation of service to others.

2- Unsolicited Communications


VoIP.IT strictly prohibits the use of Services for sending unsolicited communications, including but not limited to:


  • Sending bulk, unwanted, unsolicited calls or messages, including robocalls, SMS, MMS, fax broadcasts, or voice messages without the prior explicit consent of the recipients.
  • Engaging in telemarketing or promotional messaging activities without compliance with applicable laws such as Canada’s Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules (UTR) and the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
  • Harvest or collect information about others, including phone numbers, without their consent.
  • Sending communications to recipients who have indicated refusal or opted out of receiving such communications.
  • Using automatic dialling systems or prerecorded messages for unsolicited communications is only permitted where explicit prior consent has been obtained and provided to VoIP.IT if required.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Services or the networks and systems connected to the Services.
  • Use the Services in a way that negatively impacts other customers' ability to use the Services.


Customers bear sole responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant telecommunication regulations governing unsolicited communications in their jurisdictions.

3- Security Obligations


You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must implement reasonable security measures such as strong passwords, firewalls, and antivirus software to protect your systems from unauthorized access. Notify VoIP.IT immediately if you detect any unauthorized use of your account.

4- Content Responsibility


You are solely responsible for all content transmitted or shared via the Services. While VoIP.IT does not actively monitor communications; we reserve the right to block or remove content that violates this AUP or applicable laws.

5- Reporting Violations


If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, you are encouraged to report it promptly to VoIP.IT at: [email protected].

6- Enforcement and Remedies


VoIP.IT may investigate any alleged violations and take appropriate actions, including suspension or termination of your Services, blocking of data transmissions, or legal action. VoIP.IT will cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required.

7- Limitation of Liability


VoIP.IT is not liable for damages arising from your violation of this AUP or the use of Services in breach of these rules.

8- Amendments


This AUP may be updated periodically. Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
